Hairspray

The Broadway musical “Hairspray” was staged at the Nuremberg State Theater (in the Opera House), directed and choreographed by Melissa King. The premiere took place in January 2022, followed by additional runs through spring 2023. The show transports audiences to Baltimore in 1962 and combines colorful ’60s entertainment with important messages against racism and discrimination.
